COMCAST CABLE COMMUNICATIONS. Issued letter regarding Comcast Cable Communication's FCC Form 1240 submissions for August 1, 1996; found that Comcast calculated its inflation adjustment factor consistent with the Commission's rules, however Comcast made a good faith mistake in using wrong inflation factor for such adjustment; waived the provision in the FCC 1240 instructions requiring the use of the Commission released inflation factor for the Comcast filed FCC Form 1240s for August 1, 1996; allowed Comcast to correct its excess inflation during the true-up process of its next 1240 filing.
