CINCINNATI BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY
GRANTED LIMITED ADDITIONAL TIME TO COMPLY
WITH CELLULAR/PCS CROSS-OWNERSHIP RULE
(Report No. CC-590, Common Carrier Action)
The Commission has granted Cincinnati Bell
Telephone Company (CBT) an additional 90 days, beyond
the standard 90 days from grant of a Personal
Communications Service (PCS) license, to comply with the
Commission's cellular/PCS cross-ownership rule in the
event CBT wins a 30 MHz broadband (PCS) license at the
forthcoming auction. The Commission stated that the public
interest would be served by granting a limited waiver, which
would afford CBT additional flexibility.
