On June 25, 2021, the FCC released a Public Notice seeking comment on a request by six providers of Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS) to defer the reduction in the per minute level of Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Fund support for IP CTS previously ordered by the Commission. TRS Fund compensation for the provision of IP CTS was reduced from $1.42 per minute to $1.30 per minute, effective July 1, 2021.
