On January 17, 2024, the FCC released two Orders granting applications filed by NexTalk, Inc. and Rogervoice, respectively, for conditional certification as providers of Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS).  The two-year conditional certifications allow NexTalk and Rogervoice to receive compensation from the Interstate Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Fund for providing IP CTS while allowing the FCC to further verify that the companies’ services will meet or exceed the minimum TRS standards.  The certifications expire on January 20, 2026, or the date of grant or denial of full certifications, whichever occurs earlier.
