On October 29, 2024, the FCC released a Public Notice seeking comment on applications filed by Sorenson Communications, LLC (Sorenson), and CaptionCall, LLC (CaptionCall), for full certification as providers of Video Relay Service (VRS) and Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS), respectively, under their new owner Ariel GP Holdco, LLC (Ariel). Conditional certifications for both Sorenson and CaptionCall will expire on December 31, 2024.
Interested parties may file comments by accessing the FCC’s Electronic Comment Filing System at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings. All filings must reference CG Docket Nos. 03-123 and 10-51.
