Grant Application Due Date:  January 9, 2023

On November 10, 2022, the FCC released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Outreach Grant Program.  The ACP is a $14.2 billion FCC program that helps ensure that qualifying low-income households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.  The ACP Outreach Grant Program will facilitate the promotion of the ACP and increase awareness of and participation in the ACP among eligible households. To support this goal, the FCC seeks to enlist and empower trusted community messengers to develop innovative outreach strategies to reach historically underserved and unserved communities, including low-income households, aging populations, individuals with disabilities, individuals with language barriers, racial and ethnic minorities, and rural inhabitants.

ACP Outreach Grant Program application forms and instructions may be accessed at https://www.grants.gov under Assistance Listing (CFDA) Number: 32.011 - Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program.  Complete applications must be received electronically through https://www.grants.gov no later than 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 9, 2023. The FCC will host a live webinar to discuss the NOFO for the ACP Grant Outreach Program on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST.  The webinar will be streamed live and open captioned at www.fcc.gov/live.  To request materials in accessible formats for people with disabilities (braille, large print, electronic files, audio format), e-mail FCC504@fcc.gov or call the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau at 202-418-0530 (voice).  Such requests should include a detailed description of the accommodation needed.  In addition, please include a way for the FCC to contact the requester if more information is needed to fill the request.  Last minute requests will be accepted but may not be possible to accommodate.
