“This page is a digitally archived AccessInfo Announcement”

On November 25, 2013, the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC’s) Consumer and

Governmental Affairs released a Public Notice seeking comments on a petition filed on July 31,

2013, by Sprint Corporation (Sprint).  The Sprint Petition requested reconsideration of the FCC’s compensation rate for IP Relay adopted in the 2013 Rate Order.  Sprint claims that the rates established by the 2013 Rate Order are too low to ensure high quality service, that the calculations on which they are based are inadequate and obsolete, and that the rates might jeopardize competition in IP Relay service.

Comments on the petition are due on December 5, 2013, and reply comments are due on

December 12, 2013.
