On November 14, 2013, the FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau issued a Public Notice seeking comment on the accessibility of the FCC’s programs and activities as part of its periodic review for compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.  Section 504 requires all federal agencies to make their programs and activities accessible to people with disabilities. The FCC also announced an update to its Section 504 Handbook which is a guide to reasonable accommodations for FCC programs and activities as well as a source of information about disabilities and accessibility.
