Service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, firms qualified under the SBA 8(a) program, and Native American-owned small businesses are encouraged to submit company information to the "Vendor File" at least once each year. Yearly submissions will ensure Vendor contact and corporate information are current.
We maintain a list of active contract solicitations . Some of the typical goods and services we contract for include things such as administrative support service and information technology supplies, services, and management.
Requests for information on previously awarded contracts by the Contracting and Purchasing Center are processed through Freedom of Information Act requests. Additional information regarding procurement activities and payment information is available from:

Small Business Administration (SBA)
The SBA's mission is to maintain and strengthen the nation's economy by aiding, counseling, assisting and protecting the interests of small businesses and by helping families and businesses recover from national disasters. SBA programs are described below.
- The SBA administers two particular business assistance programs for small disadvantaged businesses SDBs. They are the 8(a) Business Development Program and the Small Disadvantaged Business (SBD) Certification Program. While the 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to socially and economically disadvantaged firms, SDB certification strictly pertains to benefits in Federal procurement. Companies which are 8(a) firms automatically qualify for SDB certification.
- The Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB) programs allow contracting offices to set aside specific federal contracts for certified WOSBs and EDWOSBs.
- American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians seeking to create, develop and expand small businesses receive special attention via the SBA.
- Veterans receive special assistance from the SBA in accordance to Public Law 108-183 "Veterans Benefits Act of 2003". This includes special technical assistance and education/mentoring help.
- HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program stimulates economic development and creates jobs in urban and rural communities by providing Federal contracting preferences to small businesses. These preferences go to small businesses that obtain HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone) certification in part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone. The company must also maintain a "principal office" in one of these specially designated areas.
The Central Contractor Registration site is used by all Government agencies beginning on October 1, 2003. This site allows vendors seeking government business to register their specific business information and electronic funds transfer information at one place. Most government agencies will be required to use this site for current vendor information. Vendors who are not currently registered in CCR are encouraged to do so.
