Each year, the FCC publishes a status report which outlines the FCC’s progress towards establishing and maintaining a model Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program. The report has six elements that the FCC must assess with regards to promoting equal opportunity for all employees and applicants, and identifying areas for improvement. The six elements are:
- Demonstrated Commitment from Agency Leadership
- Integration of EEO into the Agency’s Strategic Mission
- Management and Program Accountability
- Proactive Prevention
- Efficiency
- Responsiveness and Legal Compliance
