On April 20, 2022, the FCC granted conditional certification to Hamilton Relay, Inc. (Hamilton), to provide Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS) using automatic speech recognition (ASR) in addition to its existing communications assistant (CA)-based IP CTS.  Users will have the option to specifically request ASR-only captions as their primary method of captioning.
