BDC Technical Assistance Workshop: Using the BDC System and Common Error Codes

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
Online Only

This workshop is the fourth in a series of virtual Technical Assistance Workshops that the FCC’s Broadband Data Task Force (BDTF) is holding to assist filers who are submitting broadband availability data in the inaugural Broadband Data Collection (BDC) window. Each session will start at 4:00 p.m. EDT and will focus on a particular topic and provide attendees with the opportunity to have their questions answered by FCC staff.

Technical Assistance Workshops

The BDTF plans to host additional Technical Assistance Workshops focusing on the challenge processes and other components of the BDC starting in September. More information on these workshops will be announced at a later date.

Registration and Help

To register for the workshop(s), interested parties should send an e-mail to BDCwebinar@fcc.gov indicating their desire to participate and identifying which session(s) they are interested in attending. Participants may attend as many sessions as they would like. Information on how to attend the virtual workshop will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the event. In addition, questions on the topics above may be submitted in advance of or during the workshop(s) to BDCwebinar@fcc.gov.

Facilities-based service providers are required to file data in the BDC system on locations where they made mass-market internet access service available as of June 30, 2022. Such data must be submitted into the BDC system no later than September 1, 2022. More information about the categories of broadband providers that must file availability data, other entities that may submit verified availability data, and what data must be filed, can be found at /BroadbandData/filers.

Additional Technical Assistance resources including FAQs, video tutorials, and a system user guide are also available by visiting fcc.gov/BroadbandData/help. You can also submit a request for technical support using the Submit a Request link available on that page.

Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are available upon request. Please include a description of the accommodation you will need and tell us how to contact you if we need more information. Make your request as early as possible. Last minute requests will be accepted but may be impossible to fill. Send an e-mail to: FCC504@fcc.gov or call the Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau at 202-418-0530 (voice).
