The FCC hosted this webinar on May 15 to share helpful consumer information with older Americans, their families and loved ones. During the webinar FCC and AARP representatives provided tips and resources to raise awareness about caller ID spoofing scams that target older Americans, along with empowering information on other consumer topics, including:
- Avoiding unwanted robocalls
- Consumer phone scams
- Asian-American fraud
- Keeping up with broadcast TV stations in transition
- Additional telecommunications consumer issues
