Tribal Communications Workshop - Billings, MT
The FCC will hold a workshop Aug. 20-21, 2019 to help Tribal Nations identify and evaluate opportunities to develop more robust broadband, telecommunications, and broadcast infrastructure and services in their communities. It will also provide information about the FCC and how it conducts its communications regulatory responsibilities, and to encourage Tribal participation in the regulatory process.

Location – Department of the Interior Building, 2021 4th Ave N, Billings, MT 59101 in the Medicine Wheel Room
The workshop will include information on new spectrum opportunities being considered to promote expanded broadband access on Tribal lands. Tribal leaders, IT managers, government and community planners and managers, enterprise specialists, and representatives of social service agencies, schools, and health clinics should consider attending this event.
