Consumer Advisory Committee Meeting

The FCC's Consumer Advisory Committee will meet Monday, September 16, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at FCC Headquarters.

The Committee is planning to consider a recommendation by its Critical Calls List/Robocall Blocking Working Group regarding the Third Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in Advanced Methods to Target and Eliminate Unlawful Robocalls; Call Authentication Trust Anchor. The Committee may also receive briefings from Commission staff or outside speakers on issues of interest to the Committee and may discuss topics including: consumer protection and education; consumer participation in the FCC rulemaking process; and the impact of new and emerging communication technologies.

The meeting will be broadcast live with open captioning over the Internet at fcc.gov/live, and can be followed on Twitter @FCC.

If time permits, the public may ask questions via livequestions@fcc.gov or on Twitter using the hashtag #FCCLive. Written comments to the Committee may be submitted in advance through its Designated Federal Officer or Deputy Designated Federal Officer at: Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, Federal Communications Commission, 445 12th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20554.

The meeting is open to the public and the site is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs or other mobility aids. Sign language interpreters, open captioning, assistive listening devices, and braille copies of the agenda and committee roster will be provided on site.
