The FCC has announced a tentative agenda for the Open Commission Meeting scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.  At this meeting, the Commission will consider a draft Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) and Notice of Inquiry (NOI) regarding emergency alerts through the Internet, including through streaming services.  In particular, the NOI would seek comment on presenting emergency alert system (EAS) alerts in an accessible manner for consumers with disabilities.
