On June 24, 2022, the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau adopted an Order which revises the instructions, reporting template, and certification form for the annual reports submitted by providers of calling services to incarcerated people, also known as Inmate Calling Services (ICS).  These changes will go into effect for the annual reports concerning calendar year 2022, which are due on April 1, 2023.

This Order, in part, requires that ICS providers report to the FCC, on a facility-by-facility basis, any ancillary service charges they impose specifically for accessing and using TTY equipment and other disability-related ICS technologies.
