Comments Due:  December 30, 2022

On November 4, 2022, the FCC released a Public Notice seeking comment on the accessibility of the FCC’s programs and activities.

Federal agencies are required to make their programs and activities accessible to people with disabilities in order to comply with the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

FCC rules require it to review its accessibility policies and practices at least every three years. The FCC also regularly updates its Section 504 Handbook, which contains guidance on the provision of accommodations for the Commission’s programs and activities, procedures for securing reasonable accommodations, and information about disabilities and accessibility.

Interested parties may file comments by accessing the Electronic Comment Filing System at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings.  All filings must reference CG Docket No. 10-162.  People with disabilities who need assistance to file comments online at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings may request assistance by email to FCC504@fcc.gov
