Have An Idea? Join the Discussion at Broadband.gov

It's almost been a year since the Broadband forum launched in mid September 2009. Since then, the FCC has received more then 257 ideas posted, 515 comments, over 7,500 votes and over 800 public users. With such a positive response from the public, we would like to see more ideas and discussions that you may have on the forum.
The Broadband forum was originally launched to get input and ideas from the public to help the task force in submission of the Broadband Plan to Congress on February 17th of this year. The forum is still open and public input is still being posted. Topics ranging from Broadband speeds, Broadband Issues Can Be Solved and Extend Network Availability are some examples of ideas and discussions that are happening.
Talking about speed, why not find out your current broadband speed (note: you will need to have Java installed). This tool will provide you with an instant report of your speed. If you find out your speed is slower then advertised, call your broadband provider.
