On January 8, 2025, FCC Chairwoman Rosenworcel announced the tentative agenda for the January 2025 Open Meeting scheduled for 10:30 am EST on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The meeting will be held in the Commission Meeting Room, 45 L Street N.E., Washington, D.C. 20554. The FCC meeting is also available online, and streamed live with open captioning at www.fcc.gov/live. While the Open Meeting is open to the public, the FCC headquarters building is not open access, and all guests must check in with and be screened by FCC security at the main entrance on L Street. Attendees at the Open Meeting will not be required to have an appointment but must otherwise comply with protocols outlined at: www.fcc.gov/visit.
Chairwoman Rosenworcel announced that the following items are tentatively on the agenda for the January Open Commission Meeting:
- Panel One
The Commission will hear presentations on the agency’s work on expanding connectivity and access to modern communications. - Panel Two
The Commission will hear presentations on the agency’s work on making communications more just for more people in more places. - Panel Three
The Commission will hear presentations on the agency’s work on national security, public safety, and protecting consumers. - Panel Four
The Commission will hear presentations on the agency’s work on the future of communications.
