Applications

Background

On May 26, 2004, a Public Notice was released establishing the pleading cycle for Verestar, Inc. (Debtor-in-Possession) (“Verestar, Inc.”) and Verestar Networks, Inc. (Debtor-in-Possession) (“Verestar Networks” and, together with Verestar, Inc., “Verestar”) and SES Americom, Inc. (“SES Americom” and, collectively with Verestar, the “Applicants”) applications for approval of the assignment or transfer of control of licenses and authorizations held by Verestar, Inc. or Verestar Networks to SES Americom. Consistent with section 25.154 of the Commission’s rules, this Public Notice corrects the pleading cycle for this proceeding. The filing information is also revised to reflect the Commission’s new duplicating contractor, Best Copy and Printing. On June 7, 2004, the Applicants withdrew the applications relating to Verstar’s domestic and international section 214 authorizations (File Nos. ITC-ASG-20040429-00186 and ITC-ASG-20040429- 00187 and the Domestic section 214 Authorization Assignment applicantion.) Applicants request that the applications for assignment of all other licenses (i.e., earth stations and other wireless licenses) continue to be processed.
