On March 3, 2011, the FCC released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) with a proposal on how to reinstate the FCC's former rules on video description from the year 2000 (that were later overturned in court) and other issues about the implementation of video description. Yesterday, March 22, 2011, the FCC granted a request to extend the due date of comments and reply comments to the NPRM.

Reply Comments are due: May 27, 2011
