The Distance Check utility (Accudistance Calculation) The Distance Check program calculates the distance between two entered coordinates by using the criteria found in Rule Section 73.208(c).

NOTICE: Use this method of calculating distances between two entered coordinates only with distances less than 295 miles (475 km) and only in the continental United States.

Uses NAD83 Only

First Set of Coordinates

Enter the Latitude in Degrees Minutes Seconds as dd mm ss.ss

Include the negative symbol − for S latitude

Enter the Longitude in Degrees Minutes Seconds as ddd mm ss.ss

Include the negative symbol − for W longitude

Second Set of Coordinates

Enter the Latitude in Degrees Minutes Seconds as dd mm ss.ss

Include the negative symbol − for S latitude

Enter the Longitude in Degrees Minutes Seconds as ddd mm ss.ss

Include the negative symbol − for W longitude
The calculated distance between the two sets of entered coordinates.
