The Office of the Field Director (OFD) provides technical and legal services to the FCC Field Offices and Agents around the country. Michael Rhodes is the Field Director.
The FCC Field has three regions.
- Region One covers the Northeastern United States. The Field office is located in Columbia, Maryland.
- Region Two covers the Central and Southern United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The Field office is located near Atlanta.
- Region Three covers the Western United States including Hawaii and the Pacific island territories. The Field office is located near Los Angeles.
